The Portfolio provides a centralised view of all trading strategies created within TradeTutor. It is designed to help users organise, monitor, and evaluate strategy performance in one place, without requiring manual tracking or external tools.
The Portfolio is available to Plus and Premium subscribers. Starter users do not have access to portfolio functionality.
The Portfolio is a virtual container that aggregates individual trading strategies and their associated performance data. Each strategy within the portfolio is treated as a standalone unit, with its own logic, historical results, and status.
The portfolio value reflects the combined performance of all active strategies it contains.
Strategy Organisation
All newly created strategies are automatically stored in the Portfolio. Each strategy entry displays key identifying information, including:
Strategy name
Creation date
Asset focus
Current status (for example, Active or Archived)
This structure allows users to maintain a clear overview of their strategy set and manage strategies across different market ideas or time horizons.
Strategy Value and Performance
Each strategy in the Portfolio displays a calculated performance value derived from market data and simulation logic. This value represents how the strategy would have performed based on its defined rules and selected data scope.
The Portfolio summary presents the aggregated value of all strategies, providing a high-level view of overall performance.
Premium users may also view how strategy values change over time using historical or real-time performance charts, depending on availability.
Strategy Lifecycle Management
Strategies can be renamed, archived, or removed from the Portfolio. Archiving a strategy hides it from the primary view while preserving its historical data and recoverability. Deleting a strategy permanently removes it from portfolio calculations and metrics.
These lifecycle controls allow users to keep the Portfolio focused on relevant and active strategies without losing historical context unnecessarily.
Live Monitoring Integration
For strategies with live monitoring enabled, the Portfolio reflects the latest evaluated conditions based on real-time market data. While no trades are executed, the system continuously assesses saved strategies against live market conditions and provides notifications when predefined criteria are met.
